Our journey starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The 7-8 hour drive will take you through the green hills, pristine rivers, and the unique highway settlements. Alternatively, you can also take an early morning flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu.

Upon arriving at the lake city of Pokhara, you can go on a sightseeing tour of the major landmarks of the city if time permits. You can stroll around the lakeside area next to the Phewa lake in the evening. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul; Trek to Jhinu Danda

After breakfast, we start our journey with a 2-hour ride to Nayapul from Pokhara. Nayapul is the actual starting point of our trek. The short trek from Nayapul to Jhinu Danda passes through the village of Birethanti.

Birethanti village is also the main checkpoint where trekkers need to show their trekking permits and TIMS card. The trails pass through the ethnic village settlements of the Gurung and Magar community. We cross the beautiful Modi Khola to arrive at our destination of Jhinu Danda.

You can walk further for about 20 minutes downhill to arrive at the natural hot spring. The hot spring is a great place to relax after the trekking journey. We stay overnight at a tea house in Jhinu Danda.

Day 03: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Bamboo

Maximum altitude: 2600m

Trek duration: 5-6 hrs

After an early breakfast, we start our trek from Jhinu danda to Bamboo passing through the forests of rhododendron and oak trees. We climb up the steep trails observing the breathtaking scenario.

The awe-inspiring views of Annapurna South, Macchapucchre (Fishtail), and Himchuli mountain will enchant you. Moreover, we cross the pristine Chomrong Khola and climb towards the village of Chomrong below the Annapurna Himal. The trail then descends through stony steps towards Chomrong Khola and we cross the suspension bridge to arrive at Sinuwa.

We have our lunch at Sinuwa village and continue our trek as we enter the stunning Modi Khola valley passing through rhododendron and oak forests. The trail first ascends gently through Kalgidhar and then descends further to arrive at the village of Bamboo. We stay overnight at a tea house in Bamboo village.

Day 04: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali

Maximum altitude: 3194m

Trek duration: 5-6 hrs

After an early breakfast, we start our trek to Deurali from Bamboo. We cross the steep stone pavements and pass through the lush and damp bamboo forest. We arrive at Dobhan after a trek of some hours where we have our lunch.

We continue our trek passing through Rhododendron forests to arrive at the Hotel Himalaya. The woods then opens up and we resume our trek to the dry forest until we arrive at Hinku cave.

Then, the trail descends towards the river and several avalanche sites until we arrive at Duerali. You can observe the pristine Himalayan rivers, and serene waterfalls and awe-inspiring views of the entire valley. We stay overnight at a tea house in Deurali.

Day 05: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

Maximum altitude: 4130m

Trek duration: 6-7 hrs

After early morning breakfast, we start our trek towards the majestic Annapurna Base Camp from Deurali. This section of the trek is challenging as well as exciting. We start our trek with a gentle ascent on a stony trail. The trail then arrives at an avalanche site passing through the village of Bagar.

All along the trail, the magnificent views of the Himalayas will enthrall you. After a trek of a few hours, we arrive at the stunning Machhapuchhre Base Camp from where you can observe the breathtaking Machhapuchhre Himal in a close-up view.

Day 07: Trek from Sinuwa Danda to New Bridge and Drive to Pokhara
