Round Annapurna short trek is a short alternative trek of Annapurna Circuit.
The 13 days trek start with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syange along the Marshyangdi gorge via remote Manang valley. And Thorung La Pass to holy temple Muktinath.
The major attraction of this trek is diverse terrain, amazing vistas, and cultural diversity.
This trek is designed for those who have limited time. This trekking can be done in all seasons. so, its best option in rainy season too ( june, july).
This trekking is a complete package where you’ll get a chance to experience the wilderness of the Annapurna region. if you have limited time but still you want to experience annapurna circuit then its probably best option for you.

Welcome to the land of Himalayas !!! Upon your arrival at International Airport, a representative from Eagle Eye treks will receive you and transfer to the Hotel.
After taking a short break, we'll have short team meeting regarding any trekking formalities.
After orientation program, you are free to explore the nearby places. In the evening, you'll enjoy the dinner in an authentic Nepali restaurant.

We start our wonderful trek with an exciting drive towards Besisahar town (headquarter of Lamjung district). From here we transfer to another vehicle continue drive passing villages of Bulbule, Ngadi, and Khudi. Scenic drive continues through rice terraces fields to Syange for an overnight stay.

We begin our trek from Syange leaving behind Marshyangdi river reach Jagat village. After Jagat, the trail leads on the winding path to Chamje via forested area. On the way, we enjoy the superb views of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayan ranges. After few hours walk, we reach Dharapani village for an overnight stay.

After Dharpani, we'll continue our walk via rhododendron and pine forest. We'll pass some interesting Buddhist cultured villages like Bagachap, Danque, and Timang. After few hours of walk, the trail leads to Koto and then to Chame town for an overnight stay.

Today the trail continue via deep forests toward the narrow and deep valley. After that, we cross a river over the bridge. From this point, we get the view of soaring Paungda Danda rock. We continue our trek and reach Pisang village for an overnight stay.

From Pisang, there are two alternative trails from north and south of Marsyangdi River. We'll be taking one of this route and reach Munji.
On the trail, we'll see the different fields with a wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan settlement offers an amazing view of Annapurna peaks, Gangapurna, and Terkekang.
From Munji, we continue our trek via the hidden valley of Bryanga and finally reach Manang for an overnight stay.
We stay in Manang for the purpose of acclimatization. Traveling high and sleeping low is the best way to avoid the altitude sickness.
The acclimatization day is really important while doing Round Annapurna short trek.
During acclimatization day, we'll explore Manang valley. We'll hike to Khangsar where we'll get a wonderful view of the whole valley.
We'll also visit Bhojo Gompa and Gangapurna lake. After exploring the Manang valley we'll be back to the teahouse for an overnight stay.

The trail continues from Manang to Yak Kharka leaving behind Marshyangdi valley. The trail is steep, first, we'll reach Ghusang.
From Ghunsang, we'll see several Mani walls along Thorung Khola. Before Yak Kharka, we'll cross a suspension bridge and walk uphill.
Once we reach Yak Kharka, we'll be amazed by the view of Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho peak. Overnight stay in the teahouse of Yak Kharka.

Today we begin our trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi. The trek gradually rises along Thorong Khola. After crossing suspension bridge, we'll reach Thorong Phedi.
On the way, we'll get the best view of majestic peaks of Annapurna Himalayan range.
Overnight stay at the teahouse in Thorong Phedi.
Altitude: Thorong La (5416m/17764ft) and Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft)
Trek hour: 7 - 8 hours trek, 1-hour drive

Early in the morning, we'll trek towards Muktinath through Thorong La Pass. Actually, Thorong La Pass lies between Manang and Mustang. This route was used by early traders and now trekkers used to cross from Manang to Mustang. We'll also follow the same trail from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath.
The several colorful prayer flags and chorten welcome us to the Pass. Once you reach the pass, we'll be rewarded by the jaw-dropping views of peaks including Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Khatung Kang.
After relishing the mesmerizing view, we continue our trek towards Muktinath temple. Muktinath temple is an important pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhist.
After Muktinath temple excursion, we'll drive back to Jomsom for an overnight stay.

Today will be our last day of the trek as we'll fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom.
Pokhara is a city of a lake nestled between lush green hill with the dramatic Himalayas in the background.
There are plenty of places to visit in Pokhara. Some of them are David falls, Mountain Museum, Phewa Tal, and Pewa Monastery.
We spend our night at the lakeside in Pokhara.

You can stroll around the city and enjoy shopping. Later in the evening, you can join the farewell dinner, where you can cherish all the beautiful moment of Round Annapurna short trek.

Final day in Nepal!!! It's time to say farewell. A representative from Eagle Eye will drop you at International Airport.
