Born in the amazingly beautiful solukhumbu district of Nepal, Gyalie grew up being surrounded by the great Himalayan peaks. He says that he still remembers thinking as a child, what it would feel like to set foot on the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest. He joined Eagle Eye treks and expedition since 2013 and has scaled the Himalayas countless times. He has reached the top of Mt. Himlung, Island Peak,
Mera Peak, Lobuche East, Pisang Peak and of course the Everest, fulfilling his childhood dream. However, he tells us that over the years, he prefers climbing Mera Peak for its extraordinary views of the surrounding Himalayas.
