Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Maximum Elevation: 1,400 m
Welcome to Kathmandu! Our representatives will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can either rest and fuel up from your journey or explore the areas around you.
At night, our representative will brief you about the trek and you can plan for your Everest Base Camp Trek.
Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla & Trek to Phakding
Maximum Elevation: 2,860 m
Travel Hours: 30 minutes flight
Trek Hours: 4 hours
After breakfast, you will take a flight to Lukla. It will be a scenic 45 minutes flight on which you will get amazing views of the Kathmandu Valley and the mountains.
Once in Lukla, the starting point of any trek in the Everest Region, you will start your trek to the beautiful village of Phakding.
The trek begins with a hike downhill to Cheplung and then following the Dush Koshi river ascends to Ghat and finally to Phakding.

Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Maximum Elevation: 3,440 m
Trek Hours: 6-7 hours
After breakfast, you will start your trek to Namche Bazaar, the biggest village in the Khumbu Region.
The trail leads you through pine forests along the Dush Koshi river. You will cross several Sherpa villages like Benkar, Chumao, Monjo, and Jorsale.
At Jorsale, you will have to get your permits checked at the Sagarmatha National Park entrance.
You will then trek along the Dudh Koshi to point of junction of the rivers Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi. From here you will hike up and cross the very famous Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge.
The last few hours is a steep hike through dense pine forests before finally reaching Namche Bazaar.
On the trail today, you will get amazing views of the Nuptse and Lhotse.

Day 4: Namche to Tengboche
Maximum Elevation: 3,860 m
Trek Hours: 5 hours
After breakfast, you will start your trek to Tengboche. The beginning of the trek will be a little tough as the path out of Namche is quite steep.
You will also cross the famous Everest View Hotel, which is the highest altitude hotel in the world. You will then trek across rhododendron forests and might even get to see some animals like the Musk Deer and Thar.
The trail will then go down until you reach Phungi Thenga, from here you will easily see the final destination for today, Tengboche.
Today’s trek will offer you amazing views of the mountains like the Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Tengboche also offers you the very first sight of the mighty Everest.
You can also visit the Tengboche Monastery, which is the biggest monastery in the Khumbu Region.

Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche
Maximum Elevation: 4,410 m
Trek Hours: 5-6 hours
After breakfast today you will start your trek downhill. You will walk through rhododendron forest and pass through several small villages. You will also cross a couple of suspension bridges.
The trail is mostly all uphill climbing but not as steep as any days before.
Today’s trail will lead you through Imja Khola and Pangboche village. It is an ancient village home to a 16th-century monastery that is famous for its relics.
You can visit this monastery and see the relics that are on display.
On today’s trail, you will also get an amazing view of mountains such as Ama Dablam and Lhotse.

Day 6: Rest Day /Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Maximum Elevation: 4,410 m
Today is a day for your rest or acclimatization. This day is very important while trekking to higher altitudes as it helps your body get used to the thin air, thus avoiding altitude sickness.
Dingboche is traditionally a farming and summer pasturing area for Sherpas. Today, you will hike up to Nangkartshang hill, at 5,090 m and return to Dingboche all in 4-5 hours to help with acclimatization.
This short hike will offer you beautiful landscapes and stunning mountain views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Imjatse, Makalu.
Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche
Maximum Elevation: 4,940 m
Trek Hours: 4-5 hours
After breakfast, you will begin your trek with a climb to the ridge and continues for about 90 minutes through grazing pasture land to Dhukla.
From here the trail is a steep climb to the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier for an hour. And from here the trail turns left to the memorial park for all the people who have lost their lives climbing the Everest.
This place has stunning views of the Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal.
One hour uphill climbing from here and you will reach Lobuche.

Day 8: Lobuche to Gorak Shep and EBC and Back to Gorakshep
Maximum Elevation: 5,364 m
Trek Hours: 8 hours
Today after breakfast, you will finally begin your trek to Everest Base Camp. The trail at first is flat and easy to follow. You will cross a lot of rocky dunes and glacier moraines. The trail is full of ups and downs for 3 hours before reaching Gorak Shep.
From Gorak Shep, you will hike another 3 hours to reach the Everest Base Camp. From here, you will get some breathtaking views of Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori. You will also see the Khumbu Glacier and Icefall.
After some time in the Base Camp, you will hike back to Gorak Shep which will take you about 2 hours.
Overnight at Gorak Shep.
Day 09: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and Back to Gorak Shep and Descend to Pheriche
Maximum Elevation: 5,643 m
Trek Hours: 7 hours
Today’s trek to Kala Patthar is one of the highlights of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Kala Patthar is the best viewpoint of Everest in the Everest Region.
You will start your day in the early dawn to hike to Kala Patthar to see the sunrise in the mountains which is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is a strenuous 3-hour uphill hike to Kala Patthar.
After returning to Gorak Shep, you will have your breakfast and continue hiking to Pheriche.
Overnight at Pheriche.
Day 10: Trek from Pheriche to Namche
Maximum Elevation: 4,371 m
Trek Hours: 7 hours
After breakfast, you will begin your downhill trek to Namche. Today’s trail is mostly downhill trekking from Pheriche to Tengboche to Pangboche to Dingboche to Namche.
You will be walking next to the Dudh Koshi river. And you will enjoy your trek through rhododendron, pine and juniper forests before you finally reach Namche.
You will get amazing views of the mountains such as Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Nuptse on today’s trail.
Overnight at Namche.
Day 11: Hike Down Lukla from Namche Bazaar
Maximum Elevation: 3,440 m
Trek Hours: 7 hours
You will begin your trek to Lukla by descending the Namche hill crossing the same suspension bridges you crossed on your way up.
After a while, you will reach Phakding from where you will climb the last uphill section of the trek to Lukla.

Day 12: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Maximum Elevation: 2,860 m
Travel Hours: 30 minutes
Today is the last day of your Everest Base Camp Trek. After breakfast, you will take a flight to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you can explore the city and do some souvenir shopping.

- Plan ahead and pack wisely. Do not bring unnecessary items on your trek.
